Today we discuss 5 little things you can do that can make a difference.

1. Making URL’s Hyperlinked

When people respond to questions in answers or posts in a group discussion board they often include a URL. Many of these are done wrong so that if someone wants to visit the link they have to copy it and post it in the browser address bar. These URLs usually look like www.linkedintuition.com. If you want it to be hyperlinked simply add the http:// so that the format is http://www.linkedintuition.com.

Get this right and your click thru rates will increase.

2. Properly Size Photo’s

LinkedIn photo’s are 80 x 80 in size. Before posting your picture make sure it is a square picture so that when it is resized by LinkedIn it retains the proper proportion. Add a rectangle picture and you’ll look like someone is squeezing your head.

Use a graphics editor to crop your picture to a square and resize to 80×80 or 160×60, etc. It doesn’t matter as long as its square.

3. Change Your Group digests to Weekly (instead of daily)

Let’s say you took my advice in previous posts to join 50 groups. When you join a group you can tell the group how often you are open to receiving activity alerts. The default setting is daily. During the week you’ll get 250 digest alerts…one from each group each day. Change it to weekly and it will be more manageable. If you have groups that you don’t want a digest from you can choose to not receive updates.

You can also choose to not receive group announcements which the manager can send once every seven days. I would recommend allowing the periodic announcements.

4. Send a Personal Message When Connecting

When you accept an invitation request it takes you to a subsequent page that allows you to type a message. This is a great opportunity to thank the person for the connection invitation and to communicate a message. It won’t make a difference in every case but it can have an impact. I customize each so that my response is relevant.

Does it help? Not with everyone but it certainly doesn’t do any harm. Stand out by taking the 20 seconds it takes to send a follow up message.

5. When You Ask a Question Choose a “Best Answer” or Multiple “Good Answers”

This is a common courtesy. You’ve asked a question and others have taken their time to answer it. You should make it a habit to read all answers provided and provide feedback on the quality. Often a single answer will stand out in which case you designate the answer as the “Best Answer” provided. Sometime one answer will not stand out but several will provide value. Simply choose several as “Good Answers”.

Return the favor by answering other’s questions and by recognizing answers to your question that provided value.

I have been away for a while, going to great seminars of Mark Anastasi and great speakers, I have had the opportunity to share ideas with Jason Osborn, Jeff Mills, Jennie Armato, and many others, great experience meeting Armand Morin!

You should start by looking for a site within your niche and not actually competing with you. (You would be surprised how little you can get these banners for).

Website owners sometimes don't realize the value of their traffic in certain niches. They don't realize that they've got 20,000 businesses a month coming to their site. Often, you can get the banner placed on these websites home page for very little indeed.

If you offered them a certain amount of money to put your banner on their site, sometimes they will come back and say no and sometimes they'll come back and say we charge this amount and other times they will say yes.

• Create and affliate site for your product and register your product with Clickbank, let other people advertise your business. Make sure you give them as much help in your affiliate site so they can advertise easily your business, banners, emails, all already done for them.

How to make a website if you have no idea about internet and HTML

I went to a Seminar with Tony Sharpe, out of all the useful things we learned the most amazing one was this incredible software that he recommended a Web design software Xsite Pro 2, it does everything for you, it will not only help you to design the website but it will link the website with your autoresponder, you tube, pay pal, you name it just by pressing some buttons and entering your details, it is a great piece of kit for newbies and even for professionals.
It is the most useful tool for anyone going into the world of internet.

This is the best software I have ever seen, it just has all you need to do any type of website you can ever want to make, I made a website from start to publishing it online while travelling London to Cambridge , in about 1 hour.

Xsite Pro 2 is so amazing that I saw in Tony's Sharpe Seminar people that knew nothing about computers and less about what a website is, making a website in less than an hour, not just any website but a website with opt-in pages, Pay Pal button, AdSense, Video, Audio and pictures all ready working online.

After a couple of hours showing my mother how to use it, she has made her first website and she is boosting her Home business now, amazing!!!

Its all about believing you can do it

After 1 seminar only I am already doing my first website and my first sales page, amazing! you do not need to spend a lot of money to start, you need to invest to increase your knowledge and grow but to start you don't need much.

I went to Mark Anastasi's Seminar last month and that change my life forever!!!! Most seminars are full of people talking a lot but not saying much, here the speakers didn't just talk and said lots of things but showed us in detail their secrets, not just what they did but how to do it and they were incredible people, so open and friendly, so willing to share their knowledge, it was amazing!

That day I was asked to go in stage "Me in stage....." something I never saw coming in my life, I was there sharing with people my experience about Twitter and it was an amazing experience to connect with all this people that I could have never connected in that way if I didn't have the opportunity to be there in stage. Thanks Mark! He just gave me that amazing opportunity of sharing my experience without knowing who I was, Thank!

Twitter a new world of social networking

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers). Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or, by default, allow anybody to access them. Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, Short Message Service (SMS) or external applications. The service is free to use over the Internet, but using SMS may incur phone service provider fees.

Since its creation in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Twitter has gained extensive notability and popularity worldwide. It is often described as the "SMS of Internet," in that the site provides the functionality (via its application programming interfaces) for other desktop and web-based applications to send and receive short text messages, often obscuring the Twitter service itself.

Estimates of the number of daily users vary as the company does not release the number of active accounts. In November 2008, Jeremiah Owyang of Forrester Research estimated that Twitter had 4-5 million users. A February 2009 Compete.com blog entry ranks Twitter as the third most used social network (Facebook being the largest, followed by MySpace), which puts the number of unique monthly visitors at roughly 6 million and the number of monthly visits at 55 million, however only 40% of users are retained. In March 2009, a Nielsen.com blog ranked Twitter as the fastest growing site in the Member Communities category for February 2009. Twitter had a growth of 1382%, Zimbio had a growth of 240%, followed by Facebook with a growth of 228%.

I have had the amazing opportunity to be in an Internet boot camp 3 days that has changed my life for ever!!
I have had the opportunity to Network, make new Friends and learn maybe not all but most of what I need to do to be Millionaire with Internet Marketing. I started with growing my social network and with GDI so I have an income to start and focus on growing my network, the next steps will be ...improving my blog, make more blogs, start making websites about popular Niches and start advertizing and making money through AdSense, Clickbank and just marketing and whatever Niche is chosen, same about writing a book in the future and start growing from then ....it's all a big big world. You won't make millions from one affiliate, or one niche or one internet business, is all about focusing in one at a time, that is the trick, move on to the next one once you start making some income from one and a steady and automated income.

That is the reason I am focusing in few ideas right now in my blog, for the people that follow me to understand that is the way I am already making an income and the way that needs to be done so at the end you can make some good money out of the internet marketing and business.

Social and Business Networking

Social and business networking is the key to any type of marketing, the advantages on line is that you can grow a lot faster your network than offline.
The faster your network grows the faster you will increase your income, this is what people don't realize at the beginning. They go for this system and for the other system and they don't succeed, then they give up and go out if the internet marketing business because it is not for them or had no luck they think....
In my experience focusing on building a network and learning about the business is the easiest way to start in the world of internet marketing. There are too many ways to make many in the internet, but whatever you choose, if you don't have a growing network you will not make as much income.

My first checks

I have cashed yesterday my first 2 checks...one from Clickbank and the other one from MyLife, I will be explaining later on about this 2 companies as well, I am sure most of you know about clickbank.
Until yesterday all this almost was just learning and trying now I know I can seat in a restaurant and pay with the money I just cashed and feels so good, feels that all this hours and days seating at the PC and learning so much are worth it, because now it might not have been a lot of money but it is a start and I am in the right path to Internet Entrepreneurship.

This is a blog to share a bit my experience learning about making money online. As most people, I find myself lost in so much information, websites, new words as SEO, affiliates, niche....so much to start going around and so much frustration when you just want to understand how people make money online.
